Festive fashion with Vertbaudet

December 10, 2018

I must confess - I first discovered Vertbaudet over 12 years ago after the birth of my first daughter - and I fell in love. The clothes were just so chic and stylish - I probably spent a good chunk of my salary with them. I have continued to shop with them ever since, they always send through great discount offers that are far too tempting for me to turn down! As you can probably tell from the name, Vertbaudet is a French brand.

I do find the clothes can come up on the petite side so I tend to order a size bigger than needed. I have always rated the quality and the design - when my kids were younger they had bedding, wall decals and mirrors from the Vertbaudet home section in their bedroom.

I am sharing a few of our festive winter favourites - we had a little trip to the woods to collect holly for our wreath. I like to try and add a pop of colour to their wardrobes otherwise things can tend to get a bit samey. My eldest would go for black or grey every time, Shannon always goes for pink and sparkly and Finley, well, we wears anything with Minecraft or Harry Potter on. We seemed to have a shortage of smart clothes.

Shannon is wearing:

Hat: Grey Beanie Hat with multi-coloured pompoms - age 11/14 years. I would totally wear this myself, I love the pale grey with the colourful pompoms and the multi-coloured bobble.

Tights: Yellow open-knit tights (2 pack yellow/black) - (UK size 3-5). These are an open-knit effect one pair of yellow and one pair of black.

Skirt: Girl's dark blue skater skirt - age 10-12 years. Stretch cotton jersey knit fabric skirt in dark blue with an Iridescent sparkly flat elasticated waistband. Very light weight and comfortable to wear.

Jumper: Cable knit jumper in orange - age 12-14 years. Lovely jumper in an acrylic and wool mix. I would say more mustard than orange in colour, we went for a bigger size so her sister (and me) could wear it too.

Finley is wearing:

Jeans: Boys slim-cut narrow-fit red trousers - age 7-8 years. Available in 3 hip sizes designed to suit all body shapes. These slim cut trousers are made from stretch twill, they also have an adjustable waistband. These come in dark green and black too.

Shirt: Red plaid shirt with plush lining - age 7-8 years. Flannel plaid shirt with poppers for buttons, the lining is amazing! The inside of the shirt is padded with a plush furry lining. Finley loves it!

Shannon is wearing:

Top: Girls dark green long-sleeved t-shirt with reversible sequin design. Lovely shade of jade green, pure cotton, long sleeved with a reversible sequin bee.

Skirt: Dark blue skater skirt. (as above).

Tights: Black open knit tights (2 pack). (as above).

We were thrilled with all of the clothes as usual. Great colours, great quality and perfect for winter days and festive parties too.

Thank you Vertbaudet.

*We were gifted these items of clothing in exchange for this post - all opinions are my own and we will always be huge fans*
