#ExplorerKids - Round-up #49

Well, it's been a pretty windy and rainy week here in the UK, thanks to a storm called Doris, I thought Doris was a sweet "old lady" name? It's left me craving some sunshine, so these pictures have cheered up my day. Thank you as usual, to all of you who join in tagging #ExplorerKids on Instagram.

For those new to this page - I co-created the #ExplorerKids hashtag with Su from Ethan and Evelyn - we wanted a place where people could share pictures of their kids exploring and having adventures all over the world. Since we started this hashtag over 15,925 pictures have been tagged on Instagram!

Each Tuesday Su and I pick four favourites to feature so make sure you give @kippersandcurtains and @ethannevelyn a follow and we'll follow you back. All are welcome to join in - just use the hashtag on Instagram and we'll find your photos. It's also a great place to find other accounts to follow.

My four favourites this week are:

Top left: @thebackwoodsmama - A magical moment during our afternoon stroll. This family are currently exploring the Okanagan Valley in B.C. Canada! It looks so beautiful.

Top right: @the_littleadventurer - Peace Now ✌🏼"I'd love to tell you that we spent our first day in Berlin looking all moody in front of politically significant graffiti backdrops, but other than bumping into this small section of the Berlin Wall, we spent the bulk of our morning hiding from the wind and rain at the Legoland Discovery Centre (more in Stories ☝🏼). We're expecting more rain again today, so we may well be found disrupting the peace in more galleries and museums."

Bottom left: @travelling_family - Strolling sisters at Bouddhanath, Nepal. They look like part of Charlie's Angels. I love the colourful flags. Nepal looks like such a vibrant place.

Bottom right: @hola_lafamily - "Happy girls are always the prettiest." Audrey Hepburn. I love this feed! This picture was taken at Ding Bay in New Zealand.

Thank you all for sharing your pictures and allowing me to use them. Please give these accounts a follow - so much travel inspiration!

Su has picked four favourites - you can see these on her blog Ethan and Evelyn.

This week I have re-shared a picture I took on my phone almost two years ago. I shared it in Instagram and it got three likes. I didn't have many followers at the time and rarely used hashtags - it now has 95 likes. It just goes to show what using hashtags can do.

This was taken at Richmond Park near London.

Keep exploring!
