Decor feature: Sir Dandylion

I have another amazing business to share with you today. I have recently contacted Jo from Sir Dandylion to ask if she can share a little bit about her business. I'll hand you across to Jo who's Etsy shop is based in Truro, Cornwall. I can thank Instagram for this new discovery - I love the fairground, vintage style of the furniture they create, it is just fabulous. I particularly love the sugar skull pieces.

Sir Dandylion is a shop for those looking for vintage and retro furniture with a lot of heart and soul. Their aim to make custom hand finished furniture affordable.

All of their stock is sourced and quite often rescued by Jo and her partner and given a new lease of life, each piece is totally individual particularly those pieces that she has added hand painted artwork to, this is a unique style that Jo has developed over the past few years. Mainly focusing on the 1950's 60's and 70's images as that's where her passion lies.

Jo loves colour, her own home is filled with it, making it a 'happy' space. Each piece is well thought through quite often taking inspiration from the furniture style itself looking at what image and colours would suit it best.

Their aim is to create one off statement pieces that trigger a talking point in your home or business whilst also keeping old unloved wooden furniture from landfill.

More recently Jo has teamed up with her partner who is a professional decorator and perfectionist! In their work you really are getting the best of both worlds with professionally finished functional furniture that's had art added to it to give it the WOW! Factor.

You can visit Sir Dandylion on Etsy and follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
