What is going on with this weather? It seems to have pretty much rained constantly for the past week!
Still, we've been trying to crack on with our #30DaysWild challenge for the month of June. It's hard to get motivated when it's raining all the time - but as we walk to school anyway, we've been including activities in our walk home.
This week we have:
Visited Sheffield Park and Gardens and fed the ducks, geese and swans.
Hugged the giant redwoods.
Counted the rings of a tree.
Picked wild flowers.
Found (and eaten) some wild mushrooms called Chicken of the Wood.
Made a nature mandala from petals, flowers and mint leaves.
Hopefully the sun will make an appearance again - I think we are all a bit fed up with getting wet.
